Model ZGI40 Ground Independent Vehicle Mount, 1.1 metre

ZGI40 is a ground independent 27 MHz CB radio mobile antenna specifically designed for mounting to the bull bar, guard or boot of a vehicle, or to a truck mirror. No metal ground plane is necessary for effective performance.

Standing 1.1 metres tall, the antenna delivers 2.1 dBi gain. The high quality chrome plated brass, delrin, copper and fibreglass construction will survive harsh Australian conditions for many years.

4.5 metres of RG58 low loss stranded cable bottom exits through the mounting base. The cable is not terminated to allow easy installation through vehicle firewalls and dashboards. It is recommended that the cable be sut to the shortest length necessary prior to fitting the UHF male solder connector provided.

A range of brackets are available to suit various mounting positions on a vehicle.

The replacement top whip for this antenna is ZGI40W.

27 MHz CB Radio Whips

Factory tuned for 27 MHz CB radio, this selection of whips can be fitted on any antenna base with a 5/16"–26 TPI thread and mounted in various locations, either fixed or mobile.

Construction consists of fibreglass with black heatshrink cover and chrome plated brass ferrule.

• ZN5-27-15 is 147 cm tall.
• ZN5-27-11 stands 123 cm tall.
• ZN5-27-06 is the shortest available at 63 cm.

Antenna bases will need to be mounted on a metal ground plane for effective performance.
