Model ZN4-77-06: Black Fibreglass Top Whip, 95 cm

The ZN4-77-06 ground independent elevated feed 477 MHz UHF CB mobile antenna is a light design with black fibreglass whip perfect for mounting in various positions on a vehicle or to a truck mirror.

Model ZN4-77-07: Black Powder Coated Stainless Steel Top Whip, 95 cm

The alternative ZN4-77-07 model is fitted with a black powder coated stainless steel whip with phasing coil, rather than a fibreglass whip.

Both models stand 95 cm tall and deliver an effective 6.6 dBi gain, ideal for either hilly or flat terrain. Suitable for all Uniden, GME, Icom and Vertex UHF CB radios, these antennas mount simply into any bracket with minimum 12.7 mm (½") diameter hole.

Factory tuned for 477 MHz, the high quality brass, delrin, chrome and stainless steel components also make either model ideal for use in harsh marine and industrial environments.

The electro-polished stainless steel barrel spring included dampens vibrations while travelling and maintains the antenna in a vertical position for the optimum receive and transmit performance at any speed.

4.5 metres of RG58 low loss stranded cable bottom exits through the beehive spring and mounting bolt and is not terminated to allow easy installation through vehicle firewalls and dashboards. It is recommended that the cable be cut to the shortest length necessary prior to fitting the UHF male solder connector supplied.

The ground independent base is also available to order separately with or without the barrel spring for mounting some other UHF whip which has a 5/16"–26 TPI thread.
