A coaxial dipole is an economical base station antenna solution with no compromise in either quality of construction or performance. They are ideal for VHF, Air Band or UHF omnidirectional low power transmit and receive applications where high gain is not essential.
Coaxial dipoles offer low wind loading, they require minimal tower space and are easy to mount. The gain of all dipoles is 0 dBd.
Specify your transmit and receive frequencies within the bandwidth limitation indicated and your coaxial dipole antenna will be manufactured and tuned accordingly to better than 1.5:1 VSWR.
Mast mounting clamps, coaxial feeder cable, connectors and other accessories are all available separately from ZCG Scalar to complete the antenna installation.
Model CL3642 : Manufactured to full commercial standard, the CL3642 omnidirectional coaxial dipole base station antenna can be tuned to cover any 1% bandwidth you require within the frequency range 35 to 42 MHz at better than 1.5:1 VSWR. Standing 5 metres tall, the dipole features a high quality white fibreglass radome and stainless steel mount tube. The 1 metre RG213 cable tail is fitted with an N-Female connector rated for up to 50 watts input power.
Model CL3642R : This coaxial dipole is an even more robust model with a thicker “ruggedised” radome and larger stainless steel mount tube purpose built to survive the most extreme weather conditions such as those found in coastal, alpine and arctic regions.
VHF 70 - 118 MHz Coaxial DipolesThe B13 and B13SS omnidirectional coaxial dipoles are effective and economical VHF base station antennas. For use in the 70 to 118 MHz frequency range, specify any 3% bandwidth you require.
At the lowest frequency 70 MHz these coaxial dipoles will stand 3 metres tall. When manufactured for higher frequencies, the fibreglass radome height reduces slightly. An N-Female connector rated for up to 100 watts input power is located at the base of the mount tube. 2 x EB1SS clamps are recommended.
NOTE : FM Radio Broadcasters should use the G12HP collinear broadcast antenna specifically designed for the purpose and optimised for better than -20 dB return loss.
The B14 and B18 omnidirectional coaxial dipoles are for use in the 118 to 136 MHz Air Band frequency range. Specify any 3% bandwidth you require and your dipole will be manufactured and tuned accordingly at better than 1.5:1 VSWR.
At the lowest frequency 118 MHz the coaxial dipole will stand 3 metres tall. When manufactured for higher frequencies, the fibreglass radome height reduces slightly.
An N-Female connector rated for up to 100 watts input power is located at the base of the mount tube.
The N-Female connector at the base of the mount tube is rated for 100 watts input power. 2 x EB1SS clamps are recommended for mounting to a round mast between 20 mm and 50 mm in diameter.
