HM2800 “Coastguard” Base Station Antenna
Built to full commercial specifications, the HM2800 “Coastguard” 27 MHz marine radio base station antenna delivers excellent performance and will survive long term in the most severe weather conditions and hostile environments.
Standing 6.2 metres tall and factory tuned for the frequency range 27.680 to 27.980 MHz, the brass and cable internals are fully sealed inside a strong white fibreglass radome and stainless steel mount tube.
The 1 metre cable tail is terminated with an N-Female connector rated for up to 50 watts input power.
Mast mounting clamps, feeder cable, connectors and cable fittings are available separately to complete the installation.
ZM108A Mast Mount or Side Mount Antenna
ZM108A is a ground independent mast mount antenna for 27 MHz marine communications. This model can also be side mounted from a vessel's wheelhouse or any other flat vertical surface.
The white fibreglass radome and stainless steel mount tube stands 2.8 metres tall. The internal radiator is copper and the end fed half wave design provides excellent performance.
An N-Female connector is located at the base of the stainless steel mount tube.
All components used are of the highest quality to ensure long term survival in the harsh marine environment. The antenna will deliver reliable performance for many years.
ZM80 and ZM108 Deck Mount Antennas
Suitable for 27 MHz marine communications, these ground independent deck mount antennas are a single piece construction. The internal radiator is copper and the end fed half wave design provides excellent performance.
- ZM80 stands 2.2 metres tall.
- ZM108 is 2.8 metres.
These antennas match the height and appearance of other deck mount models in the ZCG Scalar marine range.
4.5 metres of RG58 stranded cable side exits from the chromed brass ferrule. Cut the cable to the shortest length necessary prior to fitting the UHF Male solder connector supplied.

The MM1 folding deck mount supplied as standard is constructed from toughened plastic. This base folds down in two directions and also swivels in the opposite plane by loosening the stainless steel pivot bolt. This versatility allows the antenna to be mounted in a variety of positions on any flat surface and at any angle using four screws or bolts.
For those who prefer the ultimate in quality, durability and strength, the MM2 folding deck mount is constructed entirely from stainless steel. To order either antenna with the stainless steel MM2 deck mount, simply add the letters ‘SS’ to the Order Code.
BM6-27 and BM8-27 Base Model Deck Mount Antennas
Ground independent and factory tuned for the 27 MHz Marine Band, these Base Model deck mount antennas are a perfect match in both height and appearance to other ZCG Scalar “BM” series marine antennas.
- BM6-27 stands 1.8 metres tall.
- BM8-27 is 2.45 metres tall.
Construction consists of copper radiators fully sealed inside a single piece white fibreglass radome ensuring long term survival in the harsh marine environment. The end fed half wave design provides excellent performance.
