VHF Low Band Mobile Antenna GRL-T, 70 to 77 MHz Field Trim, 2.1 dBi
For the VHF frequency range 70 to 77 MHz, the GRL-T is an end feed half wave mobile whip with a high impedance matched base.
Although needing a good earth at it's mounting point, there is no need for a full ground plane for the GRL-T mobile antenna to perform to specifications with 2.1 dBi gain.
The stainless steel whip is trimmed in the field to the desired 2 MHz bandwidth using an SWR meter.
A whip trim chart and tuning instructions are provided with the antenna.
