NEXT G and GSM Mobile Phone Antenna Whips, Mounting Bases and Cable Sets

For reception of a cellular mobile phone network, a phased whip may be fitted to a base and then mounted in a variety of locations, either fixed or mobile. Here are the various options available from ZCG Scalar.

XB4.7 Mounting Base and Cable Set

• Suit either M90T (Next G) or M90T (GSM) whip
• 6 mm thread
• 4.7 metres of RG58 low loss solid core cable fitted to the base (may be cut shorter if desired)
• No connector (specify and order separately).

MGB-XB Heavy Duty Magnetic Antenna Mounting Base and Cable Set

Here is the perfect choice for hire cars, or when driving different vehicles in a fleet.

The MGB-XB magnetic antenna base is manufactured from steel with an attractive polished black powder coat finish. 10.5 cm in diameter, the strong magnet will positively secure the antenna base to any flat metal surface with no slippage.

This base is designed for mounting either the M90T (NextG) or M90T (GSM) stainless steel whip, both offering 5.1 dBi gain.

Most typically, MGB-XB is used on the roof of a vehicle and removed when not required. The PVC matted pad on the bottom will prevent scratching the surface to which the base is applied.

4.7 metres of RG58 low loss solid core cable side exits from the base. The cable may be cut shorter if desired. A variety of connectors are available as you may require.
